As part of Australian Made Week 2026, we were proud to see a Remer custom mirror featured in the Australian Made House, a thoughtfully curated showcase celebrating Australian design, craftsmanship and manufacturing.
Created in partnership with Australian Made and styled by renowned interior designer James Treble, the installation brought together products from more than 30 Australian Made-certified businesses. Designed as an immersive walk-through experience, it demonstrated just how much of our everyday lives can be shaped by products designed and made right here in Australia.
From living and dining spaces through to the bathroom setting, the Australian Made House showcased a collection of products that reflected the creativity, innovation and craftsmanship being produced across the country.
A Showcase of Australian Creativity
The Australian Made House demonstrated that exceptional design can be created using products designed and made right here in Australia.
Each setting combined products from Australian businesses across furniture, homewares, building materials and everyday essentials, creating spaces that felt inviting, contemporary and beautifully considered.
Rather than presenting products in isolation, the installation showed how Australian Made pieces can work together to create cohesive interiors that reflect the way we Australians live.
For us, it was inspiring to see so many local businesses represented within a single showcase, each contributing something unique while sharing a commitment to quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design and local manufacturing.
A Custom Mirror Takes Centre Stage

Featured within the bathroom setting was a Remer custom organic-shaped mirror, designed and manufactured in Melbourne as part of our Australian Made-certified Custom range.
Curated by James Treble, the space balanced clean lines, soft forms and carefully selected Australian Made products to create a bathroom that felt both contemporary and approachable. Positioned above the vanity, the mirror became a focal point within the setting, its flowing silhouette creating contrast against the surrounding cabinetry and introducing a softer, more sculptural element to the space.
As a custom design, the mirror reflects the flexibility that local manufacturing makes possible. Every Remer custom mirror is made to order, allowing designers, builders and homeowners to create a piece tailored specifically to their project, whether through shape, size, lighting or functionality.
Seeing our mirror featured within a showcase dedicated entirely to Australian Made products was a proud moment for our team and a reminder of the incredible creativity being produced by Australian businesses.
Supporting Australian Made
One of the most powerful aspects of the Australian Made House was seeing the breadth of products being manufactured locally.
From statement furniture pieces through to everyday household essentials, the installation highlighted the talent, innovation and capability that exists within Australian industry.
Choosing Australian Made products supports local businesses, jobs and communities while helping strengthen the industries that contribute to Australia’s future. It also helps preserve skills, encourage innovation and create opportunities for Australian businesses to continue growing and evolving.
The Australian Made House was a reminder that supporting local can be part of everyday decisions, and that great design and conscious purchasing can go hand in hand.
Looking Ahead
Australian Made Week may have wrapped up for another year, but the message behind it remains as relevant as ever.
We are proud to have been part of the Australian Made House and grateful to Australian Made for creating a platform that celebrates local businesses, local craftsmanship and Australian innovation.
For Remer, it was a wonderful opportunity to see one of our custom mirrors featured alongside so many exceptional Australian brands and to contribute to a showcase highlighting the value of Australian Made products.
Because behind every Australian Made product is a story of craftsmanship, creativity and people who genuinely care about what they create.
